He is passionate about health: his own, his patients’, and the people he loves. Dr. Malik tries to be an example of healthy living. He exercises several times a week. His favorite forms of exercise are walking, hiking, running, and rowing. He consumes a whole foods diet that emphasizes vegetables, fruits, legumes, healthy fish, and lean sources of protein. Dr. Malik believes that dietary supplementation can be an important part of achieving or maintaining optimal health, but that diet, exercise and doing the things we love come first.
